Trying to find any information about the Maurice family from Oak Hill, Abbeyleix, Ireland. The head of the family was John Maurice b1746 married to Sarah Ince? they had 6 daughters & 2 sons Rose married John Vanston Alicia married William Dolmage James died 1842 Mary married (unknown) Switzer Margaret died 1867 Sarah married John Power Ann died 1871 married Peter Turpin Thomas died 1836 any information relating to any of the names or families listed would be very much appreciated, no matter how small. |

I am also searching the surname Maurice, in fact Annie Maurice who was married to Michael O'Neill but have had very little success. Maurice is a very difficult surname to research. If I come across anything during my own research I will let you know, pleas oblige the same. Good luck in your research. |
