I am also trying to find new forest Wells and like you find it very hard. I am looking for .James Wells who married Emily Lamb lived Bartley, woodlands, Money Hills is all I have to go on. They had a daughter Annie born 1920. Do the names meen anything to you?

Our Wells Family Tree comes from the New Forest Wells's, know as Gypsies and travellers, they made money by buying up lame horses and selling them on, It is belived that some of the younger women went into domestic service. Because of the habit of burning the possesions of the deceased we have found it very hard to trace the great grandparents of my own grandfather.
