Looking for any Bond that live or lived in Glasgow, William Bond was my Great Great Grandfather, and he married Nancy who died after last child. They had quite a few in their family, names of children by William and Nancy Bond are Rose, Billy, Margaret, James, Vera, Andrew (Andy), Nancy and Sheila. William and Nancy Bond had a Granddaughter called Gayda Margaret Bond, who he brought up in Glasgow. Her mother's name was Margaret Phylis Bond and her father's name was Ralph Frater Murrey Downie, who i have now found out about. Margaret was a dancer and apparently opened a dance school in London. Information on either Bond or Downie would be appreciated. |
