Tracing my Family Tree- COULTON. Hugh COULTON, b1871, my grandfather, came from Ireland, not sure which area, and in 1890, married Sarah Ellen CASSIDY, in Workington area of Cumbria. Sarah's father, John, b1842, was also from Ireland, again not sure which area, he married Mary A, b1844, not sure of her maiden name, but she was born in Workington. John and Mary had loads of children, well they didn't have TV in those days, some born in St Bees, Arnthwaite, Arkton and Seaton. Hugh and Sarah came to the northeast coast to work in the Iron and Steel Industry. I am wanting to hear from anybody who think they might be related, or can help me find from what part of Ireland my grandfather came from, but it is the Cumbrian connection I want to get.
