Looking for my Gt.grandfathers family. According to his death certificate 1908. He was born in a place called Tullynessle nr. Alford, Aberdeenshire. His name was Jonathan. His father was John and his mother Margaret Anderson I did find one couple with this name in Campbeltown. Jonathan married Isabella Thom in Grange in 1854. They had 6 children, Mary Smith McDonell, Margaret McDonell(my grandmother who married Charles Forbes Shaw), Charles, Ann Forbes, Barbara and Isobella. I am Looking for any help I can get ??? I cannot find his birth anywhere, could be his name was written as John, but he does'nt appear in the list with the others. |
