My family is: John Lind b c1848 Falun Sweden a Mariner, married Sarah Jane Hughes (b 1857 Poplar Uk) in 1880 and had 3 children prior to coming to Australia in 1890. Eliza Jane Lind b 1881 Poplar died 1900 Newtown, never married. John Charles Lind b 1882 Poplar married Jane Edith Williams in 1902 NSW and had 5 children, he died 1944.NSW Sydney Frederick Lind b 1886 Poplar, married Margaret Elizabeth Casey 1913 in Orange NSW and had 1 child. Arrived in Australia 1890 and had more children: William H Lind b 1891 NSW died 1910. Emily E Lind b 1893 NSW married Arthur R Crocket 1916 NSW. Ernest Edward Lind b 1894 NSW married Alice Maud Ingram 1922 and had 3 children. Lillian K Lind b 1896 NSW died 1897. John Lind's father was Joseph Lind a Land Surveyor born Sweden - no further info. John Lind died 1926 NSW. aged 78 yrs. Sarah Jane Lind (nee Hughes) died 1934 NSW at 77yrs Val Lind -Australia |
