Member Since: February 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	I'm from the Buckinghamshire Pickett family - based in and around a tiny village called Hedgerley. We've traced our family back to 1502, but there are a few gaps. If anyone thinks they might be able add some more information I'd like to hear from you. We also have direct descendants in Australia - the result of my great-great-great Grandfather (or possibly Uncle) Thomas Pickett stealing potatoes to feed his family and getting 7 years hard labour! Thomas went on to start several families in and around Tasmania and presumably died of old age or exhaustion!
