Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 1 Send Message	My name is Alan Paul Garner I was born in Newton Heath, Manchester in 1939. My fathers name was George Frederick Garner and he was born in 1903 in St. Helens, Merseyside. He had four sisters, Olive, Louise, Doris & Edith. They moved to Manchester and lived on Oldham Road, where his father worked on the railway until his death in 1941. The maiden name of my fathers mother was Seddon and I believe that her family had a glass works in St. Helens. I would like to hear from anybody who is related to my father.
