Hi. I am trying to find my Great Grandfather Richard Jones from Wrexham 1820.He was related to Ewan Morgan Jones son of James who sailed to Iowa in April 1825 with other drovers to to work for W. Tunstall. He took Decora a Cherokee squaw as his partner and they had a son name David Toma born June 1827and a daughter Natoma Sitka born Dec 1830. After the death of his father he returned hom to Wrexham with his son. They returned to the USA 1836 possible to Cedar Falls Iowa. This account was found in my Grandfather papers. Is any one out there related to Ewan who is in some way related to Richard Jones my Great Grandfather. Please help. Regards. Christine. |
