Looking for descendants of THOMAS SMITH,(born 1688) in Ireland, who, after the Seige of Derry, emigrated to the United States. He was the founder of the town of New Boston, in New Hampshire. His descendants fought the Amer. Revolution, in the War of 1812, the American Civil War, the First and Second World Wars. There are several of us doing the research, and finding a lot of American cousins suddenly, in Vermont, New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Canadian cousins in Quebec and Ontario. If you think that you might fit the description, contact me, and we will help you to figure out the connection. We have a lot of information already, and can probably help you confirm whether or not you are from this particular SMITH tree. Thanks, and have a great day, Phyllis |
