JULIE HOLZINGER (12/04/2004) Looking for my birth father "Anthony Williams" born 1937/38 believed to have resided in the Charlton Greater London area in 1958/1960. Had a short term relationship (3/4months) with my mother Sylvia Mary Stringer (then aged 17) she then lived in the Orpington Kent area in 1959, at that time he was a Builders Labourer, interested in jiving & sport (she was a machinist) from this he then enlisted in the Army for a short time, possibly spending a brief period in prison?? from there he became a qualified butcher working in the London, Thamesmead area, and to my knowledge from my grandmother (Lucy Stringer) was still working in the Thamesmead area 10years ago. I have very little information to go on, but he was 5ft6" Mousey ginger hair and had a hare-lip repair, he also had, and still does to my knowledge, a great longterm friendship with a Mr peter Whylie who is married to my Aunt Gina (2 sons Malcolm & Peter) now in there 30's and who is my mothers brother-in-law, they reside in the Thamesmead/Kent area. I was placed for adoption in 1960 in the East Grinstead area. Reunited with my mother 20 years ago and have a good relationship with her. Anybody who has any knowledge on his whereabouts, family or friends i would be extremely grateful for, I just need to fit the last piece of my jigsaw together.... |
