Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	David Hughes My father Bernard John Hughes is reputed to have been born in Kensington or Kennington on 29th December 1910. His mother Ann died shortly afterwards. His father Henry John was said to have been a Major in the Royal Artillery who probably died in WW 1. Bernard was brought up by an 'aunt' in Blackheath and attended St Joseph's Academy. I cannot find any confirmation of this history. Could anyone help please?
