Thank you Andy. I have researched the Nethercotts from Dulverton in Somerset quite thoroughly and sadly have no Elizabeth which would fit yours.

I am not sure where Dulverton is, but that doesn't matter because I am not sure where my Nethercott family came from! I think they are from Monkleigh, Devon, England, but have not been able to prove it yet. My Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Nethercott. She came to the United States about 1887 settling in Oakland, California. She died at the age of 25 in 1888 after giving birth to my Grandmother, Kate Ruth Nethercott. So Elizabeth was born about 1864, and her death certificate says she was born in England, and that my Greatgrand father was unknown. So I am assuming that Elizabeth was an unwed mother. The family of John and Mary Nethercott from Monkleigh fit and have a daughter Elizabeth born in 1864. But I have not been able to prove that she is the same Elizabeth as my Great Grand mother who died in Oakland, California.

I would very much be interested in a look at your tree and such as it is you are welcome to look at mine.
