Hi Josephine,
Yes, you are correct in the name of Nind however I've been involved with a lady who has been researching the Nind name for over 30 years and we haven't found any connection with Cornwall. The earliest records I've sighted are in the 1500s in Beckford (courtesy LDS family history library films). For many decades the Ninds were centered in Gloucestershire.

The name Nind means house at the end of the village and originates from Cornwall? is this true I wonder
