Hi I am looking for any information about my fathers relatives. My dad was b.1919 his name Joseph his parents names were Joseph and Harriett Jones. I believe Harriett died when my dad was a few months old.As far as I am aware he was an only child but was very friendly with his cousin Betty. My dad was born in Barr-Bridge where my dads grandmother had her cottage along side the canal. My grandparents worked the canals on the barges and as my dad got older he too used to help his dad on the boat. I believe he has relatives in Oswestry, St.Martins and Chirk. He lived for a time with his Aunt Annie from Park Hall Oswestry. He joined the army in his teens and when he was 28 he married my mother Rachel from Tipton. Can anyone help Patricia |
