Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 4 Send Message	My late father was william Smith.He was born in 1905 in Glasgow ,I think.He had brothers Jim,John and Charles and a sister Nan.They spent a lot of their youth in a place called Tarbrax ,which I think is in Lanarkshire.I know there is quite a big extended family but I have lost touch with them over the years and have no idea where they all are now.Perhps one of them could help fill in the blanks on the Smith branch of the family tree.My mothers name was Mary Laidlaw.The family lived in Plantation in Glasgow at some time and also around the area of Paisley rd west in Glasgow.
