hi, my name is jeremiah buckley, i am trying to find out info on my fathers family, sadly he and my half brother passed away within a week of each other last year. my father jeremiah was born in cork city in 1914 he had a brother michael who has also passed away. my grandfather was daniel buckley they were pig farmers. he was born c1825, i dont have any info on my grandmother. they lived and owned a house in 'Foley's Row' in cork city which was still standing in 2001 although ther was a new ringroad being built around it at that time.my brother Daniel(donie) lived most of his life in the east end of london, before moving to washington,nr sunderland... my dad often said he had cousins named 'Sullivan'.. if anyone can shed some light please get in touch. all the best j. |
