My name is Cilla Alexander. I am looking for descendents of Sir William Smith- lexicographer- he died in London in 1893. He was married to Mary Ann Crump and had 4 sons - Clinton, Clifford, Herbert and Howard. Clinton died around the age of 25 - Clifford, I believe had 2 sons Harold and Reginald - Herbert had a son Cyril and 2 daughters Dorothy and Violet. I believe Dorothy married a Marriott Smith and Violet married a Lt.Col. Ronald Carrington - Howard had a son Charles, I think. Does anyone know of their whereabouts or descendents? My interest is that we share a great great great grandfather James Crump, who was an attorney at law in Coventry and Birmingham from 1799 to 1834. Many thanks
