Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	hi everyone, my name is Roy Smith (Melanie's father) and I have just started looking here for my grandparents. My father was Sidney George Smith who I believe was born in Poundsford/Trull, Taunton, Somerset and his Dob was 5th December 1900. He had two brothers, Samuel and Edward (Ted) and a sister Ethel. They lived in Red Lane. He married Lillian Frances Hobbs in the late 1920s. Sidney George Smith was known as George Smith and he was a policeman moving around Somerset - Swainswick, Bath, Wells, Yeovil, Bishops Lydeard, Lydeard St Lawrence, Ashcott. Thank you everyone.
