Alice Mayhead was the sister of my grandfather William Mayhead,and lived in Ash Vale,Surrey.There are many members of that side of the Mayhead family still living in and around the area,including three sons and three daughters of William and his wife Queenie.

Hi Janet

Im looking for Mayhead's in the Surrey area. My great Uncle William was a butcher and had a shop in Brighton Road Surrey. My great grand father John Mayhead 1832, lived at Claygate Kingston-on-Thames his wife was Martha Taylor 1831. They had 10 children. Both my grand parents Alice my mothers mother and Herbert my fathers father. Alice married a Brasnett and kwent to live in Durham.
