am trying to trace any watson/WATSON MALES,FATHER JOHN,MOTHER JANE FROM BENWICK IN CAMBS CIRCA 1879.Possibly living in skiefs row or sturtons place.My grandmother Drusilla Richards had a liason with one of the Warson lads,This resulted in my grandmother Elizabeth Sarah Richards being conceived in 1879.Mr Watson went to Australia about the time of her birth,maybe on some sort of immigration scheme.He sent money back regularly fo Elizabeth and she was the best dressed little girl in Benwick.Unfortunately i do not know his christian name and there are a lot of Watson sons,so if this rings any bells here or in Australia with anyone doing research on Watsons,please get in touch.linda.
