Hello all, I have this info on Greens if it is some help to any one. The Green name was an anglo saxon surname 1086AD first mentioned in taxes paid in KENT,ancient anglo saxon founding race of england.a fair few people, generals,commanders, hengist or horsa settled in Kent 400AD.The angles settled on the east coast in 1066 after the noramn conquest one Geoffrey Green paid poll tax in kent in 1188.
