I'm looking for relations of my father Arthur Glyn Jones born in the area of Cardiff in 1917, he lost his mother Carnation to flu when he was only months old and was fostered out, somehow the name Taylor keeps popping up (maybe a foster name?). He had two older brothers Tommy & John. When he entered the army in 1937 John was entered as already having died. His fathers name was Thomas, we know or think that his father married again. The name Frank comes up who my father said was his brother? maybe a half brother, I know when he heard that he had died, my father was really upset. The name Malese Tony has popped up also aunt Ada Scanura who once lived in Arthur Street Roath & Grace Jones (step mother maybe?)Glendale Avenue, in my late mothers Catherine) address book she has a Mr & Mrs Ray Jones, from Roche Crescent Fairwater,we think they maybe related to Tommy. My father died in 1974 so I cannot asked him about his family. I know of Nanny Lowe from Whittaker Rd, (foster nan). Can someone help me find our lost family, my Sisters are Valerie Gwyneth myself Christina and my brother is Glyn. we would love to hear from the family. Please get in touch if you read this, many thanks. |
