ELIJAH COOK - WILBY, SUFFOLK C.1806 I'm trying to find living descendants, through the male line only, of Elijah Cook of Wilby, Suffolk born c.1806. I think he had five sons: John b.1826, William b.1833, Frederick b.1836, James b 1838 and Aron b.1840. William married by gg grandmother Harriet Allum but well after my g grandfather, Farrow Frank Allum, was born. So it's uncertain if William was his father. If I can trace living male descendants of Elijah, through the male line only, it might be possible to do y-chromosome tests to see if they have the same y-chromosome as I have. If we do, then it's likely William did father Farrow Frank. If not, he didn't. |
