Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 29 Send Message	MYSTERIOUS MARY SMITH MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER SEEMS TO THINK SHE CAME FROM JAMAICA ACCORDING TO THE 1881 CENSUS.MY GRANDMOTHER SEEMS TO THINK SHE CAME FROM USA.ALL WE DO KNOW FOR SURE IS,SHE MARRIED WILLIAM NEWBERRY AND DIED OF CHILDBIRTH IN 1891.SHE MUST HAVE BEEN BORN IN ABOUT 1856 BUT DID NOT TURN UP UNTIL JUST BEFORE SHE MARRIED WILLIAM IN CARDIFF WALES.THEN AGAIN IN THE 1881 CENSUS.HER FATHER WAS WILLIAM SMITH BORN GOODNESS KNOWS WHERE OR WHEN.
