Dear, Rick,
My Grandfather was Ernest Ball ( Ted )
He was born in Nuneaton in 1901 but was from the Atherstone family.
I believe that most of the Atherstone side of the family were involved in hat making.
I believe my fathers great uncle owned his own factory. My father is nearly 80 but next time I see him I will see if I can get some information from him.

Regards Derrick Ball

Hi, My name is Rick Ball and i've been tracing my BALL family who lived at Buckland,Aston Clinton, and Amersham ( all in Buckinghamshire ). William BALL left his home town of Atherstone in Warwickshire in August 1723 to live in Amersham, Bucks where he married Amy Pennard later that same year. I would love to hear from anyone with BALL family connections in these places, especially Warwickshire connections.
