My maternal grandfather was Hugh Davies who married Selina ?. They lived at various places in Co. Durham. I've no dates except that Selina died in 1944. There were three children Lloyd, Samuel and Jane (b 1909 - d 2000). Jane was my mother and married (1935 in York) Norman Wilkinson (b 1908 - d 1967). They lived in Thirsk, York and Northallerton, North Yorkshire. Lloyd married Dorothy Major and had two children Trevor and Valerie. They lived for some time in Flamborough and Reading. Samuel I understand died in his 20's possibly as the result of a motor accident. Those are all the details I have of the Davies side of my family history. If anyone can help with further detail I would be very grateful. |
