John Report 22 Jun 2005 17:32

I have just found after months of trying a needle in the haystack, at last found where my Grandafather William John Lewis was born in Gelligear, to find that his mothers name was Mary Jones !!! Father William Lewis I couldn't believe it , to find a Jones in Wales is as bad as trying to find a Lewis. The children from the marriage are Thomas William John - my grandfather Annie Elizabeth Catherine Oliver Stanley Gordon Millicent Jessie They lived in Bailey Street and also Thomas Street Gelligear. I would love to be able to find this side of my family. It doesn,t stop there I have also found my Great Grans maiden name on the other side of my family is also a Jones from the Birmingham area, she married a Nash, So if that rings a bell would be grateful to hear from you
