My father, John Joseph Hagan was born on the 12th February 1911. I never new my Grandfather as he diedbefore I was born. His mother's name was Hannah Harriet, He had two brothers, Walter and Albert, and two sisters, Eva and Hannah Harriet (known as Nancy). The last time I saw them all was in 1948 when my grandma was living at 59, Benton Way, Wallsend on Tyne, Northumberland. I seem to remember that Eva lived in Birmingham and her husband lost a leg in WWII. My Uncle Albert never married but my Aunt Nancy's married name was Strachan and she lived at 2 Elizabeth Road, Howden. At that time she had a baby girl also called Geraldine who was born in 1946 or 1947. My Uncle Walter had six children at the time and lived in Newcastle.
