Hi, trying to find some-one who has any links to the Youngs of Lanchester district-Co.Durham.My great grandfather was William young born abt.1872/3.I believe his father was called Robert Young abt1840/41.William married an Elizabeth Tilley who died abt 1901 at age 31.William then remarried -do not know who to.They lived at Eastcastle.William was possibly born at South Moor and had brothers and sisters as follows-mary,anne,magaret and thomas also in the family were john,henry,jane and elizabeth anne Barrass who were williams fathers step children to his 2nd marriage to a Hannah Barass from wylam.William had two children Thomas abt 1900 and Catherine 1897.If anyone has any of these names in there trees I would be eternally grateful as I have hit a brick wall and not sure how much of the above information is correct-Thankyou |
