i am trying to trace bartons from kippax leeds ,my grandfather was william barton of school lane with brothers harry &walter and sisters monica and amy. he married hilda ezmay bennett. he died in 1972. wanting to trace his parents etc. |

HI,Karen, I AM A BARTON FROM KIPPAX.I TWO LIVE IN THE AREA OF WHAT WAS SCHOOL LANE,NOW WESTFIELD LANE, YOUR GRANDAD AND BROTHER HARRY,LIVED TWO DOORS DOWN FROM WERE I LIVE NOW. I BELIEVE WALTER LIVED UP CHAPEL LANE. THE GIRLS NOT SURE OF?.IF I AM RELATED TO YOUR BARTON CLAN IT WILL SURFACE BAQCK IN THE 1800. I HAVE TRACED MY BARTON FAMILY ROOTS BACK IN KIPPAX TO 1741.
