My NAME IS Jimmy Carter, My Fathers Name was Benny Carter Who was mariied to Marjorie Known as Madge, I am seeking information regarding my fathers parents, who would be my grand parents. My grand fathert who I did not know was named Benny and I believe he originally came form Ireland, he died possibly in the 1930s, he did recieve a DCM medal for bravery in the first worl war, He was married to May Johanesen who was born in Norway, my grandparents lived in Herbert street Walton and Ealing Road Aintree, My grandmother also had a brother named Freddy Johanesen who had a horse and cart in the 1950s, he lived in Sandy Lane Aintree. (He may have been known as Freddy Johnson) They all lived in the liverpool area especialey in Aintree near the race course. |
