Trying to find G.Grandmother's maiden name. Her name was Isabella. She was married to George King and appears on the 1901 census as living in Woolwich South London. Childrens names, John, Adelaide (my grandmother), Alexander, Eleanor and Elsie. She was born in Stonehouse, Glos. I believe one of the children (known as Dilly) emigrated to Canada. Last saw Elsie when my grandmother died in 1952. Know some of my G.Grandmothers relatives may have perished on the Princess Alice pleasure boat in 1878 but unable to connect with names listed due to missing maiden name. |
