Hi My Grandmother was Grace Emily Biggs Nee King, died in 1948 at 66yrs so she was born 1882. My father who is 94 remembers her coming from Lee. Lee is a stones throw from Lewisham. Then when he was a boy they all used to visit the family in Stepney. (he was born in 1913) He also remembers going through Blackwall tunnel to visit them Sunday afternoons. I'l ask my cousin if she knows anymore for you. |

Ursula King (maiden name King) Hello' I am trying to find my grandfathers family. His name was Gearge William Taylor born July 1884in Lewisham London and he married his cousin Ethel Parris. His sister Marcella married Charlie Miller and emigrated to Canada in 1906. He also had several brothers and sisters as did Ethel. George and Ethel had a daughter( my mother) Margaret who married William King, son of Alfred and Clara King, who coincidenterly, lived in the same street as George and Ethel,Mercy Terrace,Lewisham. Anyone with any info on any Kings or Taylors in this area at this time i.e.1900 to 1910, please let me know.Thank you |
