Hi Hazel,
I have a first cousin, once removed, Ethel Thew born, according to the 1901 census, in Lewisham, London in 1894.
She had, in 1901, three siblings Stanley, Maudie and Rosie.
Her father, my Uncle, was Thomas George Thew, mother was Sarah Lake, both from London.
If this rings any bells I have information on the Thews going back to 1763 which I will be happy to share.

Regards
