Now getting VERY frustrated! For some time now I have been trying to find out about a James Carr born 1824/25 and died 1881 in Rawtenstall Lancashire. He was married (perhaps) to Margaret Madden who was born in Manchester, but I don't know where James was born. They had children:- Mary Ann born abt 1861 married James Henry Sutcliffe William born 1863 in Bradford, Yorkshire, Charles born 1865 Rochdale married Mary Ann Boyden Mary Jane born 1868 Marsden, Brierfield Lavinia born 1869 Royton, Oldham James Henry born 1873 Hollinwood, Oldham Although Margaret appears on most censuses for Rawtenstall and Oldham, James seems to do a disappearing act at these times!! Their son Charles and Mary Ann had a son named Noah and his son was also named Noah who was my father. Please can anyone help? Linda |
