My maiden name was Carr. My father was born in South Shields 1908. Thomas Leslie Carr. His father was Robert Knox Carr and he was born in Felton Northumberland in 1869. He was married to CarolineCarr who was born in South Shields. My Great grandfather was Thomas Carr born 1845 in Headingley Yorkshire. My father had a brother Frederick William born1896 in South Shieds. A brother John Brock Carr born 1898 and a sister Eliza Brock Carr b.1900.She may have died young as I never met her. Later I think there were siblings called Robert (Bob) & Elsie who marrird Bert Moore and lived in Slough, and possibly another sibling called Ruth. I think all the immediate Carr family migrated south to the Romford / Slough area. I lived in Brentwood for a time around 1936 when I met lots of my Carr relatives but haven't seen them since. My name is Patricia and my older brother was called Fred. He Lives in the USA. Would love to meet any relatives out there. Mrs. Patricia King |
