My fathers name was john Frederick Albert Smith who married my mother vera francis Townsend Nov 1937 and he was 23 years old. His address at that time was 10 Ferry road Teddington. He also lived at 6 syon lane brentford. his occupation was sapper engineer and general labourer. As my mother changed her name by depoll to maitland in 1945 for some reason ie divorce or death I have no other info about him I have a letter that was sent to my brother leonard from our father in 1948 with a calgary address may be went to canada. we may have other relatives out there i would love to know . I have two brothers leonard John smith b 15/1/1938, Brian Smith b feb 1944, myself b22 August 1942 If anyone has information on their tree or in general I would love you to contact me. thankyou.
