Find Ancestors

hi all,this is about the third time i have written a message on here,without much luck mainly because my tree is so sketchy really lol.i can trace as far back as my great grandfather but no farther the main problem i have is he was supposed to have come to wales from shopshire where in shropshire i havnt a clue.which is why im on here again lol. his name was james davies born around 1881-3 i know he lived most of life in small welsh village called llanfoist and that his children lived in govilon dont know all thier names but my grandfathers name was john herbert, he had brothers called william ,george ,sister called mary,and another one we knew as nelly dont know her proper name but she married a gillett think thats how you spell it ,think they all lived around south wales area govilon ,llanfoist, abergavenny. except for george who went to london. would really like to trace more of family especialy shropshire conection so if anyone can help or some names ring a bell would love to hear from you .all the best with your searching .chris
