I am lookin for anybody who has any information on the Morris who lived in the Worksop area, they were there for many years as I can trace some of them back to the 1700 Thomas Morris (14/2/1875) Twin brother was Robert, I belived that him and his two sons were killed in a mining disaster, if not him it was my G.Grandfather George Morris (12th January 1845) and his boys could anybody help me. His daughter my mother Irene Dyson nee Morris, was married twice, her first marriage was to a Reginald Dyson, she had four daughters I am looking for my stepsister Ann Dyson who was adopted in 1939-41 I have her birth certificate but am not allowed to see adoption records could anybody help me please. Ann was born in Hackney although her birth record shows the family came from Worksop. Our mother left and divorced her father and moved to London & married my father Charles Loosley.
