Hi Looking for details on a Dorothy Minnie Smith born around 1919/1920. Details held are scant but we know her father was called Edward Joseph Smith and he was an engineer in, or around the, Solihull area of Birmingham. Doreen married Frank Halford in Solihull in the early part of 1941 but he was subsequently killed, presumably in action during WW2. Doreen married again in 1943 to John James Sparks and had a child called Christine Ann in Solihull in 1946. Dont know if she married again or if Christine changed her name but if anyone could shed any light it would be appreciated. Thank you!
