Carol-Ann Cassells residing in Australia Desperately trying to find my paternal grandfather Harry Scott. Married Enid Feltham in 1912. The ONLY record I have is his name on the marriage certificate and that he would have been born around about 1890. He was a serving member of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders in WW1 Innuendo has it that he came back shell shocked, produced several more children (my dad Arnold 1920 and a younger sister Heather probably 1922ish) and then at some point left my grandmother and took of for parts unknown. Rumour has it that he left to live in the N/w area of England, remarried (or lived with someone) cant find any divorce info and maybe had an entirely new family. No info every forthcoming from grandma, never even saw a photo of grandad. He was excommunicated!! Please help me. Rumour also has it that he may well have been adopted by a lady by the name of Annie Scott. Am awaiting info from army records and if I find a date of birth that may help. If anyone has anything that may fit the bill please message me. Thanks Caz |
