My goldsmith family came up to the NE from Norfolk c. early 1900s. They lived in Corpusty Nofolk,in 1880s I suspect they may have very strong links with Suffolk and a little with Kent. Early 1800s they were farm labourers/coachmen / brickmakers. The names in my family are: John, Sarah, Thomas, Rayner, William, Pitcher, Catherine, Lucy, Ernst,Joseph, George. In the census's they lived inTasburgh, Corpusty, Morningthorpe, Heveningham, and Helllingly and Coddenham in Suffolk. |
