WILLIAMS FAMILY FROM THE ISLE OF WIGHT UK. I AM TRYING TO SEEK HELP TO TRACE MY GRANDFATHERS FAMILY, THEY LIVED IN SWANMORE ROAD RYDE. IT WAS QUITE A LARGE FAMILY, HEADED BY PERCY AND BEATRICE. CHILDREN INCLUDED: LES,LYDIA (BLANCHE) CHARLES,JOAN, FRANK AND LES. ALL I KNOW IS THAT BEATRICE MAIDEN NAME WAS BENHAM AND SHE WAS FROM TWYFORD. PERCY WAS A PAINTER/DECORATOR AND MY GRANDFATHER CHARLES WAS KNOWN AS SKISH AND HE WAS A COLURFUL CHARACTER WHO WAS ALSO A PAINTER AND DECORATOR. CHARLES MARRIED ENA BALL AND THEY LIVED IN RYDE AND HAD 7 CHILDREN 1 BEING MY MUM. PLEASE HELP.REGARDS JACQUIE |
