Hi I am trying to trace my Grandmother's side of the family. Her name was Justina Mary Harris and she was born deaf in 1881 in Poplar East London. The only daughter of David Robertson Harris and Sarah Harris (nee Pepper) both born in 1846 in London Limehouse. She had six brothers, Charles born c1870, Edward born c1883, William born c1886 and James born c1889. I have been unable to find any record of her other two brothers. At the time of the 1901 census the family was living at 8 Desart Street, Poplar. Her father's occupation was 'Ships Rigger' and she was a tailoress. She married John James Bradley in 1903 and they had 4 surviving children, William, Justina, John and Esther. If anyone has ancestors in their trees whose details match those above I should be very pleased to hear from you - all help gratefully received!
