Find Ancestors

I am trying to trace ancestors on my father's side my father's name was Brinley Arthur Harris he lived in Bargoed, South Wales. He had an elder brother by the name of Grenville and a younger sister by the name of Mona Mary Verona Harris, sadly all of whom have passed away. My Grandparents also lived in Bargoed. My grandfather's name was Arthur William (Hastings ?) Harris and my grand mother's name was Mona Irene Harris (nee Bevan). Unfortunately both my grandparents passed away in the early 1960's. My grandfather was a builder and my father became a plumber/builder. I have been told that some where in my grandfather's past there was a connection with the APPLEDORE SHIPYARDS but i have no information regarding this. I know my grandfather had several brothers about 3 or 4 but i know very little about them or all of their names. I think one of his brothers was called Ivor and the name Talbot comes to mind but i dont think he was a brother. My grandmother was a Bevan and i was told that she was related in some way to Aneurin Bevan from Tredegar but again i don't know how distant or whether it was true. She was also supposedly connected to the Maes Manor which is now a hotel in Blackwood. My Nan had sisters and brothers but again i know nothing about them. I think she had a sister called vera who married a man Herbert Lane and lived in Roath area of Cardiff. I used to visit them when I was younger with my parents and i know Aunty Vera is still living.
