James Report 25 Dec 2006 17:01

I am currently researching my family tree and would be grateful if anyone could help me with tracing my ancestors, they were named Cook and came from Canisbay in Caithness. I am especially interested in two siaters Sheena and Pearl who died in the nineties, they were reported to have had visits from a nephew in their old age. We have visited the Canisbay Kirk, and remarked on how well the main grave is well looked after, and photographed all the stones named Cook but would dearly love to hear from anyone who could be a relative or be able to give us additional information regarding the family. My great grandfather Alexander Cook came to Glasgow with his family, circa 1900, Alexander (Sanny),last known staying in Springboig Glasgow(mid late 60`s), James (my grandfather) and Katie(married someone called Russell) I think her grave is at Canisbay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
