Charles Gidney Beeby (my grandfather) came to Australia in 1913 from Johannesburg, South Africa. His family remained there and wrote letters to his Australian family. He was born in Klerksdorp in about 1890. His siblings were Frederick, Mary (known as May), Gwladys and William. Their parents were Frederick Charles Beeby and Florence Gidney Grasman, who were married in about 1884. Frederick Charles Beeby was born about 1864 and died in about 1896. Charles Frederick Beeby had 6 brothers: George, Richard, Alfred, William, Peter and Joseph and a sister: Elizabeth. Their father was Benjamin Beeby who was supposed to have come from Lancahsire, England, and married Elizabeth Webb. I would love to know anyone with any similar groups of names and contact those who are relations. |

Debbie, you might not have noticed that this was posted 6 years ago. Also, there are no other postings by Rosemary (run cursor over silhouette to see this) so unlikely she is still a member. |
