Not sure if I can help outright, but I may be able to supply some clues. My Ackland ancestors seem to have been heavily concentrated in Old Basing and close by and one of them was called Sarah - but a little younger than the one you're looking for.
My greatgreat grandfather was Henry Ackland, born in 1812, and I'm attaching here some notes relating to him and to his father and grandfather, both of whom were called John.

I am researching my Ackland/Benham/Crouch/Cannon Ancestors'. And would be very grateful if anyone can tell me more about them or other descendants /ascendants.
I will start with Sarah Ackland c1765 who I am keen to find some her relatives - she was the wife of James Benham c1765 possibly from Winslade? Linked with Basingstoke? Andover?Hampshire? They married in old Basing on 7th July 1785. Their children were-

Benham John c1796 ANDOVER Hampshire England. John married a Mary and they had a son called George c 1826 born in Andover.
William c1871 married a Charlotte Cannon in 1816 and had children:-
Mary c1816, Hannah c1818, Levi c1821 all born in ANDOVER Hampshire also they had James c1826, Sarah c1829, Jesse c1833, Eliza 1839 all born in Foxcott(near Wildhern)Andover, Hants Uk.
William and Charlottes son James Benham born c1826 in Wildhern or Charlton, or Foxcott? Andover Hampshire. Married a Margaret Martha Crouch born c1831 in Penton Mewsey,Andover Hampshire in 1851 and they had the following children:-

Some of the census information I have looked at puts Andover under the county of Wiltshire.
I would be grateful if anyone can give me any information on any of the people I have mentioned above. I started my tree as I have a lovely grandmother who reached her 100th birthday last year. She tells me many stories of relatives especially the Benham's and we would like to keep growing the tree!
