Dear Friends I am desperately seeking any living relatives of Arthur Joseph Hawkins - He was married to my grandmother Alice Kathleen Hawkins (nee Hale) I assume they were married in sometime in the early 1920s. They had three children Raymond (deceased) Vera (deceased) and my mother Iris who is still alive. The sad thing is they divorced when my mother was about 10 years old (mid 1940's). We think he had links in Bournmouth, Morecombe and strong family links in Bristol where his family in the late 19th century were well to do. We believe he would have married again, and also that it is probable the he has passed away as indeed my gran his first wife died in 1986. Without doubt I know that there are alot of Hawkins out there and indeed Hales from Bristol ...at least I might have the chance to know where my grandfather is buried.
